Pavel Haas Quartet have recorded a new album featuring String Quintet No. 2 in G major, Op. 111 and Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 34 by Johannes Brahms. The recording sessions took place in Studio Domovina, Prague where the Quartet recorded most of their previous albums. Same as in case of the Dvořák’s quintets the ensemble have made the new album with special guests Boris Giltburg (piano) and Pavel Nikl (viola, exPHQ member). The new album is supposed to be released in April 2022.
